October 2024 Senior of the Month

Congratulations to Alandee Patil for being announced as October 2024 Senior of the Month.

We are pleased to announce that Alandee Patil has been named October Senior of the Month. Throughout her four years at Schaumburg, Alandee has proven herself to be a leader both inside the classroom as well as in outside activities. Alandee brings a passion for excellence and a drive to make a difference that benefits all in our community.

In the classroom, Alandee has shown an impressive level of dedication. As a vocal leader in the classroom, Alandee constantly pushes herself to a high degree of academic success while balancing a course load laden with Advanced Placement courses. An active member of every class, she has earned the respect of her teachers and peers alike due to her hard work and leadership.

In her years at Schaumburg, Alandee’s extracurricular involvement has been significant in breadth. She has participated in an extraordinary number of activities, and has co-founded a popular new student group. She is active in Speech, Debate Team, BPA, and Principal’s Advisory Board, and is a Co-President of National Honor Society. Additionally, Alandee has c0- founded and led Saxons Speak, a group dedicated to helping students express their thoughts regarding issues in our school community as well as the larger world. She has been recognized for her excellence in many fields, including membership in Mu Alpha Theta for excellence in Math classes and Rho Kappa for her excellence in Social Studies classes.

Alandee’s dedication to excellence is evident in all that she does. Motivating others to public service and engagement is a strong motivator for Alandee. She demonstrates a consistent willingness to put the needs of others before her own, one of the many characteristics that will make her such a success as she moves on to the next level. Alandee plans to attend college and major in Political Science and Economics, with the eventual goal of attending law school. She attributes her ability to maintain balance by advising other students to simply, “write everything down!” Wherever she attends next year, her leadership will be missed at Schaumburg High School.
