November Senior of the Month – Emily Staudt

We are proud to announce Emily Staudt as the November Senior of the Month.  Throughout her years at Schaumburg High School, Emily has proven to be a leader both in the classroom and out. She has maintained a high academic standing despite the time that she devotes to many outside activities.  She has successfully balanced a strenuous academic load with significant activities both within as well as outside the school. Emily’s hard work, coupled with her willingness to help others, has distinguished her as a worthy recipient of this recognition.

In the classroom, Emily’s success has been extraordinary in its scope.  She has achieved high marks in many fields, and constantly challenges herself in a variety of subjects. Her success has spanned diverse academic fields, which is a testament to her hard work and drive to succeed. She is a member of the National Honor Society, a recognition of her academic abilities, community service, and leadership abilities.

Emily’s involvement is felt throughout the school day. She serves as a member of the Principal’s Advisory Board, helping represent the student body’s opinions to the Administration. She participates in many student groups, most notably in a leadership capacity in Lead Out Loud and Operation Click.  Unlike so many, however, Emily seeks involvement not because of what the groups can do for her, but rather because these opportunities provide her the chance to serve others. Emily is happiest when she is involved, and her energy and drive are exceptional among the student body. Amazingly, Emily has found time outside of her activities involvement and superb class work to be of service in the community. She participates in the community in several capacities – again, a testament to her enthusiasm for serving others.

On the personal level, Emily’s enthusiasm for life and significant work ethic have earned for her the admiration of her peers. She has embraced her high school years with enthusiasm, and is truly a leader among the student body. Emily notes that among the highlights of student life was when she was part of a leadership conference and realized that she can be part of something so positive, indicating the selflessness that she displays constantly.

Emily Staudt is truly an extraordinary person who contributes positively and selflessly in any situation she encounters. She shines in her academic performance, and she freely shares her gifts with others. Emily is an involved and talented individual, and we are proud to announce her selection as the November Senior of the Month.
