December Senior of the Month – Jacob Schneider

We are proud to announce Jacob Schneider as the March Senior of the Month.  Throughout his years at Schaumburg High School, Jake has proven to be a leader both in the classroom and out. He has maintained a high academic standing despite the time that he devotes to many outside activities.  Jake’s hard work, personal integrity, and quiet leadership have distinguished him as a worthy recipient of this recognition.

In the classroom, Jake’s success has been extraordinary in its scope.  He has achieved high marks in many fields, and constantly challenges himself in a variety of subjects. His success has spanned diverse academic fields, which is a testament to his hard work and drive to succeed. While not the most vocal student in his classes, Jake has earned the respect of staff and students alike through his dedication to academic excellence. Jake has been inducted to the National Honor Society, of which he is co-President, and has received the IHSA Scholastic Achievement Award and the MSL All-Academic Senior Athlete Award. He constantly strives to improve himself academically through hard work and strong attention to detail, characteristics that will lead him to further success in college.

Jake plans on majoring in the biological sciences and pursuing a career in the sciences, though he has not yet chosen a university.  His stellar academic record is by itself an extraordinary accomplishment; when combined with his unassuming nature and strong sense of service to others, the clear picture of Jacob Schneider emerges. We are fortunate to have had Jake’s efforts serve our school and local community, and we are proud to announce Jacob Schneider as the December Senior of the Month.
