    Saxon Boys’ Gymnastics Team Information

    Attention all boys interested in trying something new- join the Saxon Boys’ gymnastics team and their tradition of excellence for the Spring 2018 season. The pre-season informational meeting is this Thursday, January 25, in the staff dining room after school at 3:00 p.m. We hope to see you there so you can learn about how to gain strength, agility, coordination, learn how to flip, perfect your ninja skills and be a part of our championship team during our exciting season!     Congratulations Boys’ Swim & Dive Team

    Congratulations to the Boys’ Swim and Dive team who defeated Palatine on Friday. Event winners were Matt Soltau in the 50 and 100 free, Brandon Nyborg in diving, and Tyler Reynolds in the 100 fly. The 200 free relay of Matt Kelland, Tyler Reynolds, Matt Soltau, and Ryan Gustafson won. Also, the 400 free relay of Matt Kelland, Tyler Reynolds, Matt Soltau, and Matteas Arostegui was victorious. Nice work boys!

    Congratulations to the JV wrestling team for placing 7 wrestlers at the MSL conference tournament this past weekend.

    Congratulations Freshman Wrestling Team

    Congratulations to the Freshman Wrestling Team for finishing the season with a 17-1 dual meet record and finishing in second place in the 12 team MSL tournament. Second place finishers were: Mitch Lingle and Zack Marasco. Third place finishers were: Matt Minniear, Edward Nunez and Edvin Karajic. Fourth place finishers were: Tom Tunquist, Alex Guzy, Asad Khaja, Jorge Manjarrez and Alex Reyes. Fifth place was Mario Zamora. Sixth place was Anthony Lovekamp. Congrats on a successful season!

    Congratulations Varsity Girls’ Basketball Team

    Congratulations to the Varsity Girls’ Basketball team on beating Barrington on Friday night 32-25. On Tuesday, January 24, the Girls’ Basketball Program will honor their seniors at their game against Conant at 7:30! Come support your Saxons!

    AP Resource Room Extended Hours

    Saxon Pride “Sneaky Cards” Challenge

    Good morning! Saxon PRIDE is challenging students to engage in positive social interactions by playing a game called “Sneaky Cards”.  There are approximately 100 Sneaky Cards that will be put into play around school.  If you receive a Sneaky Card the objective of the game is: 1.  to complete the challenge on the card.  2. record your name on The Google Form (Information is listed on the cards and on various posters throughout the building) 3.  pass it along to someone else!  The students who record the most Sneaky Cards on The Google Form will be eligible for prizes ranging from free cookies to gift cards.  Good luck and keep showing that Saxon PRIDE!!!

    Girl Up Meeting – January 23

    Girl Up will be holding its first meeting of 2018 on Tuesday, January 23rd. Join us at 3:00 p.m. in Room 203S and help us make a global impact. Snacks will be served. Any questions? See Mrs. Gilkey in the English office or Mr. Kostalek in Guidance.

    Advanced Placement Exams Information


    Attention all students currently taking Advanced Placement courses:

    If you are taking AP exams in May, you must complete the online registration which begins Friday, January 19 through Monday, January 29. You can access the online registration and make payments through the SHS website. Each exam you take is $94.00. All payments are due by February 1. See the SHS website for complete details about the AP registration process. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Werlein or Mr. Kowalski in Student Services.

    Spring Sports – Registration is Now Open

    Students must be registered before the first day of tryouts.
    NOTE:  A Parent/Guardian must log in to the “Parent Portal” on Infinite Campus to register each student for athletics.
    All athletes must have a current physical on file and cleared with the school nurse prior to the first day of tryouts.

    HEY SENIORS!!! Interested in having your high school memories captured on the Senior DVD? Start submitting photos of you and your friends that represent the great memories you have made with each other at Schaumburg High School over the years! Class of 2019, 2020, and 2021 are welcome to start uploading their photos as well. See Mrs. Casamassimo in Student Services if you have any questions. *Please note that SHS students must log into their Google Account in order to upload images.
